Ok before I start I knew I said I wont post film reviews on this blog but I couldn’t help it. I’m still familiarizing my new site, so confusing. -_- I already have two films on queue to blog and I don’t want to wait until my movie site is good to go.

I’ve seen this movie last Monday(it was holiday, National Heroes Day) after washing a bunch of clothes. What was this film all about? Obviously the film poster and the title itself can give you a hint on what this film was all about. Two guys Doug Stauber(Seann William Scott) and Richard Welhner(John C. Reilly) competing for a promotion. Well who doesn’t want to be promoted in a job raise your hand. NOBODY.

Being promoted really means a lot to a person. It only means the company was satisfied by your work and wanted you to be on the higher level than others. But we are aware that promotion can’t be that easy and the word ‘compete’ comes in.

This film was really a good drama blended with comedy. The two main actors really makes the audience feel that it’s not that easy to be on top with just a snap of finger. I really enjoy this film, finally I saw Sean in a role which isn’t acting always stupid in films. On John Reilly, I recognized this guy in the film Talladega Nights with Will Farell. I’m looking forward for another John Reilly and Will Farrell team up on their current film titled ‘Step Brothers’. John also played his role well. I really love what he said as the film comes to an end which I quoted above. They might compete and try to get the upper hand on each other but in the end they are just like the others working in order to provide what their family needs. This film also stars Jenna Fischer(The Office) and a cameo appearance of Jason Bateman(Hancock), nice cameo.

Overall a very good story. Watch it.^_^
