Why Are Women So Complicated?

Due to boredom, I finally encourage myself to search Google about a question that is lingering in my mind for quite some time. I have heard and read this a thousand times before; why is it that women are always referred to as a problem or a complicated person? This questions has been popping out in movies, in reality, from a married or in a relationship friend and even on the internet. After some trial and error on typing keywords like ‘woman = problem‘ and ‘why women referred as a problem‘, I finally got good results after I typed in this ‘why women are complicated‘. Even on Yahoo! Answers someone posted this question. See the image? I got it in a forum, but still it refers to women = problems. I also read forums with the same question and there you have it, they quarrel and argue as if there would be a World War 3 going on. What a mystery.
Women DON’T react yet, read it first and you’ll find out my point in the end. I’ll state some answers from the internet BUT I’ll be just at the same time and try to put my shoes as a woman as well. Here we go.
*They Over Analyze - This is a common reason why they are complicated. I tiny comment or words were being uttered then suddenly the woman talks longer(as usual) and on the process she interprets it completely different to the meaning which it originally had.
*They Take Things Out of Perspective - Similar to the first one. A very small problem, they make it complicated and make it a bigger one. They love to argue a lot. Men don’t like arguments so they just shut up and listen to the ‘ArmaLite’ or ‘Preach’ of their partners.
*They Got ‘Special’ Language on their Own - Most women can’t say directly what they want to say. Instead they use these ’special’ language that they could only understand. They make us try to figure out what they are really saying. We are not psychic.

1.) Fine! - This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2.) Five Minutes - If she is getting dressed, this means half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
3.) Nothing - This is the calm before the storm. This means something and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with “nothing” usually end in “fine.” (Refer back to #1 for the meaning of “fine.”)
4.) Go Ahead - This is a dare, not permission. Don’t do it!
5.) Loud Sigh - This is not actually a word , but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of “nothing.”)
6.) That’s Okay - This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
7.) Thanks - A woman is thanking you — do not question, or faint. Just say you’re welcome.
8.) Whatever! - Is a woman’s way of saying YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!
9.) Don’t worry about it, I got it - Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking “what’s wrong”, and for the woman’s response to be, “nothing”. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of “nothing.”)
*They are Always Right - When a woman speaks, man should listen… then go with their decision as well. Don’t argue, you’ll just lost. Period
I could go all night with other reasons written on the Internet but those are still similar to the 4 reasons I’ve stated. I really enjoyed reading the ‘battle of the sexes’ if who’s more complicated between the two genders. To be honest, I might agree sometimes with some of their statements and reasons but IMHO men should also try to consider and understand why women act like that. It really depends on the personality of a person(man or women) and the way you handle your partner. Women are more delicate than man, so we should handle them with extra care and patience. Men hates argument but we should also listen and do something about it so that same mistake or argument wont happen twice. If both of you are caught in the middle of an argument, chill out both of you. Never let it ruin your good relationship. This works for both genders.
If women are complicated, so men are. Men is just as much a mystery to women as women are to men. So there is a equal playing field. It just so happens that we are human who sometimes losens a screw.^_^

..and ladies, hold your throats what ever are stated here are quite true, but guys, don’t rejoice just yet.

anyway, i have had some discussions about this many times, and it’s even Biblical, why do you think most of the famous characters in the Bible were men? yeah, there were some women who were also prophets but God chose MEN to be His (for a lack of better term)…”servants”, because women are soft, emotional and break apart when they couldn’t handle it anymore.
BUT men..relax…we also have things that are not to be proud of, MAN dies at a very early age than WOMEN, women are indeed expressive and that’s healthy, they pour their emotions over friends and even over food (^^) men are so concerned of not losing that “macho look” that we don’t express emotions…
regardless if you’re a MAN or a WOMAN, we are all the same…no more, no less

Yes I totally agree with the statements above. But women isn’t necessarily a problem at all. Base on the given equations above “To find a women you need time and money”. For me the word “time and money” is logically additive in nature that’s why the equation should be…
Woman=Time+Money
*Time=Money
Woman=2(Money)…
Money=squre root(problem)
Woman/2=square root(problem)
Woman=2[sqare root(problem)]
From here we could say that a woman is not really a problem but a square of a problem multiplied by 2. That would be a lesser problem because of the presence of the square root.
Squaring both sides of the equation…
Woman²=4(problem)
Therefore when you squared the number of your women,then that would be 4 times the original problem. Insanely a huge problem. Hope I didn’t made any mistake from my calculations. Tried my best to remember my basic algebra.LOL ^_-

in algebra, what ever you do on either of of the sides of the equation, i.e right side, you should also do on the other side, so with that…
#5 sqr(WOMEN) = PROBLEMS

LoL I was wrong, here’s a better explanation of the equation:
Woman = Time x Money
but Time = Money
therefore,
Woman = Money x Money
Woman = sqr(Money)
but Money is the root of all problems
therefore,
Woman = sqrRoot(sqr(Problems))
eliminating the squares :: (1/2 * 2 = 1)
rasing Problems to the first power
we get,
Woman = Problems

@henshin - “To find a woman you need time and money” is an overstatement. The problem with men is that they thought in order to win a woman, they need to put their best foot forward. And if it doesn’t work for them, that’s when they label women as complicated.

Perhaps you should separate “problem” from “complicated” as they are two entirely different things. When you say problem, it’s as good as saying men refer women to as a “burden”. If women are burden, why do men do everything to have them? It’s like getting a hammer to hit your own head? (*wink*) When you say complicated, as a woman I will take it as compliment. Yes women do over analyze. That is because women are genius.
There no such thing as man’s instinct, only woman’s. :p

remember what Ms. Universe 2008, Ms. Venezuela, answered to the question, “Do men have it easier in life or do women and why?”, her answer was,
“That men think the easiest way to get to a point is to go straight, but women know that in order to get to a point you need to go around all the curves fixing everything on the way” - Ms. Venezuela
i think she’s saying that WOMEN make things complicated…

and I’d like to add, if Ms. Venezuela is right, which I really think she is, why do women have to go all around the curves just to get to a certain point? Men are straight forward, we have so much in our heads that we have no time to analyze what you women want to say! that is so lame…
i think it’s when women complicate things that they become a problem…you have so many language to think that you’re not even a linguist.

well i guess, women do think hard and try to explore every possible way and as mentioned, try to fix everything along the way in order to be sure that they are heading the right tract. yes, i agree when you said men are straight forward, but sometimes men neglect to think that there are things that need to be analyzed carefully before settling on to something.

Aw… I’ll try to research that one mulong. @perpetual bliss >>> Sometimes we also neglect what we are saying because we are straight forward. At least we say it directly without using any ’special’ language or any curves. Then if women are mad, the next thing we know, mood swings… Worst is sometimes the person is clueless why. It’s not like we are dumb, but sometimes we can’t just interpret anything you feel. We are NOT psychic.-_- SO SAY IT. BUT as I said, “If women are complicated, so men are. Men is just as much a mystery to women as women are to men.” Everybody is complicated.^_^

ngayon ko lang nakita etong status message mo hen,

tama un sabi ni admiral in algebra …diba nga “whatever you do on one side you should do on the other side”
kaya lang may mali sa equation eh ganito un tama:
Woman=Time+Money
if you are not wealthy enough subtract money on both equation we have:
Woman=Time
dyan lang ha no more na (^_^)
do on both side also equivalent to “do unto others what others do unto you”
so kung complicated yun guy = complicated girl!
sige na nga, we are all complicated basically iba-iba man talaga ang isip ng mga tao and all genders…
In my case, since I grew up with so many males in our family mga 1st cousins ko lahat lalake dalawa lang kami babae na first cousin ko naglalaro the rest are males including my brother…
this gave me the chance to be more comfortable having friends with guys than gals…
no offense sa mga ladies (coz i’m one)
medyo na O-A-han man gud ko usahay sa ibang mga ladies as in no masculine side purely feminine talaga…
kaya I prefer to be with a group of men than woman but then again I have some ladies friends (in elementary and college) if you look closely dili gyud sila ana ka Kikay…
they prefer “hindi maraming salita, basically simple and confident (^_^)”

i guess having women around men is one of the best thing in living, we may not agree all the time but the difffrence between MAN and WOMAN….draws them closer together, “opposites attract” just like two diffrent magnetic poles pulling each other…
the mystery between the differences of men and women is way beyond our understanding, you’d lose your head if you try to count it all.
if you come think of it, whether who’s more complicated, more prone to anger, more prone to mood swings, and to just about everything…women and men were made to be together.
each having their own differences, philosophies, unique characteristics, we all have our part of the bargain…

Yes the fact that women were genius makes the whole idea that sometimes women are boring. On the other hand men you should realize that men were eccentric. As you have said men were “straight forward”. Yes we are because we all handle things instinctively that even women knows how accurate we are on deciding things,what to and what not to do under time pressure. We have the ability to decide fast choosing the “right track”. :>

Well, for me girls is really complicated. Why? They will always make all things a big deal no matter how big or small the problem. @admiral - women don’t make things COMPLICATED as to MESS it UP. Women just love to go into DETAILS in everything so as to make things crystal CLEAR. What women want as EXPLANATION of something is often mistaken as STARTING an ARGUMENT.

Women are not complicated in fact man is the one who will complicates everything.You know why? because first: guys always end up complaining, if they see some faults they always think that this girl is too hard to handle, second: they have this thing so called “ego” always think that their right even it’s not, don’t want to accept their fault because it can degree their masculinity.And lastly wants to be in-charge of everything even they don’t show there effort actually…and if the relationship doesn’t work they will end up blaming women…and the complicated word will be thrown against her..poor woman….
I want to comment on Ronald about this statement -“Women are obsessed with relationships, diets and shopping, to the extent that they even bore each other.”- were not obsessed in a relationship, were just doing an effort to make the relationship work and man’s failed to appreciate it. About diets and shopping?…Every woman wanted to look good for their man,right girls? Again it’s an another effort…try to put your feet on woman’s shoe for one day and you will know it!By the way the relationship becomes boring if you don’t “LOVE” your partner anymore.

I actually disagree about the complications of men and women…really think about it people…since when was it written in stone that men are “this way”and women “the other”?NOBODY likes to be generalized or categorized!This seems to be on every dating site!Comments like this scare good men and women off or tends to upset someone…From what it seems,we are who we are because of our upbringing and what society demands from us as men and women…often times forcing us into distorted judgements,stress,false expectations,false and compromised obligations,and insecurities.As a result,men and women often times expect/obligate too much of the wrong things for the wrong reasons from one another…this can be very stressful!
